Tungsten Wire Rope
Crystal growth furnaces are widely used in single crystal silicon, sapphire and other industries. In the process of preparing crystals by the Czochralski, it is necessary to apply a certain pulling force on the formed crystals when the crystals grow and rise to ensure that the crystal growth does not shift, allowing the crystal size to be controlled.
The working environment of the crystal growth furnace pulling rope is special, and the use conditions are complicated. Only by using the tungsten wire rope twisted by multiple strands of tungsten wire can the quality be guaranteed. Tungsten wire rope is made of non-sag tungsten wire, which has certain advantages in both mechanical properties and high temperature performance.
1.Raw Materials
Tungsten wire has 1) high melting point and high temperature sag resistance, which can adapt to the high temperature environment in the crystal growth furnace; 2) low vapor pressure and very few volatiles, which will not cause pollution to the prepared crystals. It is the best choice used as pulling rope in the crystal growth furnace.
The crystal growth furnace is in a vacuum environment, and the maximum temperature of the tungsten wire rope exceeds 1000 °C during operation, so the high temperature performance of the tungsten wire requires long-term stability. At the same time, the mechanical properties of the finished product are required to be good. In order to ensure the yield and efficiency in the process of winding the tungsten wire from a single wire into multiple strands at the same time, and to ensure the good high temperature stability of the wound tungsten wire rope, generally the tungsten wire does not use pure tungsten wire, but non-sag tungsten wire.
2.Features
Tungsten wire rope has high rigidity, low torsional stress, non-rotation characteristics, high temperature resistance, non-magnetic, super soft, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, no extension, and high tensile strength.
3.Specifications:
The specification of the early tungsten wire rope was 7*7*7, and now it has developed to the winding method of 4*19*7. Currently the most used is the 19*7 structure.
