Tungsten Granule Application – Catalyst in CS Analysis
Tungsten granule is tungsten flux, used as catalyst in CS analyzer for testing content of carbon and sulfur.
The analysis method and theory of carbon sulfur analyzer are as following:
1. Infrared detection method. Machines can be high-frequency infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer, arc infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer, and tubular infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer.
2. Gas volume method / iodometric method carbon and sulfur analyzer. Instruments can b high-speed carbon and sulfur analyzer, gas capacity of carbon and sulfur analyzer.
3. Non-aqueous titration carbon and sulfur analyzer testing.
4. Conductivity method.
5. Besides the above ones, there are many other methods for testing content of C and S, such as ICP method, direct reading spectrometry, X-ray fluorescence, mass spectrometry, chromatography, activation analysis and other types of carbon and sulfur analyzer
The objects tested by CS analyzer can be manganese, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper, titanium, zinc, vanadium, iron, iron, magnesium, rare earth elements, etc. Tungsten granule size used most is 20~40mesh.
