Stamped Tungsten Boat
What's Stamped Tungsten Boat?
Stamped tungsten boat is boat-shaped evaporation tungsten crucible made from high-purity tungsten sheet (≥99.95%) through high-temperature stamping, commonly used in large vacuum coating machines, large-area glass coating, production-line power evaporation sources, and advanced scientific experiments.
Stamped tungsten boat is formed in a single mold process, with a central recess for evaporation materials and extended ends for electrode connections, offering excellent structural consistency and dimensional stability. Compared with folded or welded tungsten boats, stamped tungsten boat has more regular structure, ideal for standardized batch evaporation.
Advantages of CTIA’s Stamped Tungsten Boat
(1) Integrated Formation: Entirely stamped, ensuring good structural integrity.
(2) High Dimensional Consistency: Suitable for large-scale continuous production.
(3) Uniform Thermal Field: Enhances evaporation stability.
(4) High Processing Efficiency: Shorter production cycle than welded structures.
(5) Smooth Surface: Promotes uniform heating of evaporation material.
Applications of CTIA’s Stamped Tungsten Boat
(1) Vacuum Evaporation Coating: Acts as resistive heating source for metals like aluminum, silver, and gold to deposit thin films under vacuum.
(2) Semiconductor & LED: For chip electrode layers and metalized thin-film deposition, such as Al and Au, improving conductivity and stability.
(3) Solar & Optical: Deposition of solar cell electrodes and anti-reflective or reflective optical coatings.
(4) Consumer Electronics Coating: Coating for mobile screens, LCD displays, glass covers, and decorative metal layers.
(5) Research & Metallurgy: Material evaporation experiments, high-purity metal refining, and small-scale vacuum coating studies.
